Bagatelle Great House - Barbados

Bagatelle Great House in the area of Bagatelle, in St Thomas, Barbados was a former sugar plantation now reformed and put largely to use for the dining and entertainment pleasure of any member of the public, whether local or visitor. Built in 1645, the property has passed through numerous owners over the years and now it is home to several restaurants, which each potentially cater to a completely different set of customers.

The Lucky Horseshoe chain has recently opened its newest outlet in at the Great House. Offering 24 hour service, they offer breakfast lunch and dinner menus, so the patron can select from eggs and quesadillas to steak and burgers and everything in between.

described as providing a "meat lovers feast". The amount eaten is controlled by the patron based on the colour of the chip left in view of the servers. A dining experience at Paulo's calls for extreme vigilance.

The Chatter's Tea Room provides a nice, sedate venue for the ladies to come out dressed up, to meet, socialize and have long extended chats over tea, cakes, dainty sandwiches and the like.
