Unpleasant experience due to unprofessional tech service and poor communication
Was feeling great, went for basic bone density scan and by next day I’m in agony. Serious pain in lower back and hips. Why? Technician cannot speak English other than about 3 words: up, down & ruler. Placed me about 12” away from ruler and had me wriggling and twisting up and down and over the hump in bed trying to figure out where she wanted me. Very frustrating. I’m visually impaired so need words to direct me as I cannot see a pointing finger which is what I presume is how she gets by. I use a white cane to navigate. This medical technician holds onto my cane trying to guide me down the corridor by pulling me! Shocking ignorance in a medical professional.
