Job offer: Associate Director, Data Engineering BB

Purpose of the Role: The Associate Director, Data Engineering will lead the development and management of the Bank's data infrastructure. This includes integrating AI / machine learning for automation and decision making, and supporting technology strategy.

• Lead the design and implementation of data engineering and AI / machine learning to meet strategic goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to initiate technology solutions that are effective and relevant.
• Manage infrastructure to support efficient data operations and continual adaptation to changing business needs.
• Develop new data solutions to deploy engineering services at scale effectively.
• Provide leadership in designing data solutions that exceed expectations.

Critical Knowledge & Skills Required:

• Minimum 12 years in big data or data warehouse, with 8 years in a leadership role.
• Expertise in Python, Pyspark, data management, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong project management and familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies.

Experience Required: Master’s degree in a relevant field focused on machine learning or artificial intelligence.
